Through the Lékédi Biodiversity Foundation, Eramet fulfills its commitments to biodiversity beyond its mining activities.
The Lekedi Biodiversity Foundation organized the third edition of the Eramet Biodiversity Day on December 6, 2024, at the Lekedi Park in Bakoumba (Gabon):
- A day of meetings, conferences, and exchanges on biodiversity, bringing together experts, institutions, and national and international partners
- The official launch of Gabon Green Generation by Lekedi, an environmental education program in partnership with WWF
- A showcase of the Foundation’s 14,000-hectare reserve dedicated to biodiversity conservation
- Research and innovation programs with scientific partners to contribute to the major goals and targets of the Global Biodiversity Framework
The Lekedi Biodiversity Foundation organized this Friday, December 6, the 3rd Eramet Biodiversity Day, a day of meetings, conferences, and exchanges bringing together scientific experts, institutions, and national and international partners.
As a sign of its significant contribution to biodiversity conservation in Gabon, the Eramet Biodiversity Day was held in the presence of Brigadier General Maurice Ntossui Allogo, Minister of Water and Forests; Mrs. Arcadie Svetlana Minguengui Ndomba, Minister of Environment, Climate, and Human-Wildlife Conflict; and Mrs. Clarisse Anguezomo Nguema, Deputy Inspector General of Services in charge of Education.
